It was two years ago that I took this photo of  Alex and O’Neal, during the hottest hour in Seattle’s history. It was June 28, 2021, just past 4PM. The temperature in the city was 106 degrees Fahrenheit — about thirty degrees hotter than normal for that date.

I love this photo, not for its quality, but for the story behind it. . .
