Beautiful blur photographs!

Love the strong saturation. Plays well with the slow shutter speed.

We must keep reinventing ourselves to move forward and keep the enthusiasm.

Wonderful read!

PS: tanks for mentioning me :-)

Fuji of course lends itself well to deep colors. Probably half of these were shot with my Olympus, which color-wise is pretty mediocre. I have a workflow I use esp for night shots that involves curve adjustments in Photoshop and a second round of LR adjustments that can bring out the rich textures. It's overkill much of the time and I discard the edits, but in these types of shots with movement and abstractions, I'm inclined to keep them.

Love this!

I just did a series of hipshots in NYC this past Friday night. I was noticing how keenly aware others were that I had a camera in my hand. In a reversal of fortune, it made me feel uncomfortable so I dropped to the hipshot approach.

Hipshots require a certain 007 joie de vivre. Just mosey along as if the world is your bouquet of flowers with your secret lens and ignore the negative faces! TBH, hipshooting can be creepy. I capture a lot of asses that I delete pretty quickly!

Knowing this chance, I usually have my wrist cocked upwards to shoot above the midriff plane…which makes me look even more obvious. 😆

“Why is he holding his camera like that?”

Still, I do tend to like a lot of the hipshots I get. I too delete any that are too low or close up as that is not my intention.

I love it! These shots scream fun even if it was a chore to get them 🤗
